Preserving the Davenport Family Legacy

This website is dedicated to preserving the history, lineage, and stories of the Davenport family, including ancestors, descendants, and other family members of Wilbur Davenport (1895 – 1974). Information is also included the family of of Artie Reed, wife of Wilbur. Through documented research, photographs, videos, archival records, and carefully traced connections to notable and famous relatives, we honor the past and preserve it for future generations.

Our Mission

The Davenport Family Site is a growing historical archive dedicated to preserving and documenting the lineage, research, and connections of the Davenport family, with special focus on the family of Wilbur L. and Artie Reed Davenport. The site brings together detailed genealogy research, family records, photographs, videos, obituaries, published works, and carefully traced connections to notable relatives, including documented family ties to all 45 U.S. presidents. Our purpose is to organize and preserve this legacy for future generations.
